| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | May 27, 2008 Bottled. Clear pale amber, rich compact head. Faint malt aroma. Sweet and soft, mildly malty with spun sugar and cotton. Low hop rate and bitterness. It’s on the sweet side of the style, and gives sugar too much field to play on, but the very soft mouthfeel is very pleasant. fonefan (11888), VestJylland, Denmark

Luckily, the flavour has less butter than the aroma. A little anis feel in a good mouthfeel. Strangely enough, the flavour seems very clean apart from a little butter. Hint of sweet dark malts. Some raw liquorice in the very late aftertaste. The aroma is horrible, but the flavour seems OK at first. After a while it does get worse, though. oh6gdx (9104), Vasa, Finland
