Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 11, 2008 Slightly hazy golden-copper. Tropical fruit, citrus and caramel aroma. Fun hop juice. Pear, guanabana, brown sugar, and cantaloupe. Fairly normal SoCal IPA. Beershine (1214), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Apr 23, 2008 Updated: Apr 24, 2008Draught @ Hamiltons, SD. Lovely looks: can’t stop staring at this model-like brilliant orange beauty. Bright flavors hovering between earthy groundedness and fruity estery resiny delights. Spot-on with the hops, very nice. JorisPPattyn (4275), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 22, 2008 Draught Huge, mango-yellow, dense head over slightly hazy pale amber beer. Fresh C-hops, orange rind, orange cake. Taste differs seriously with a very cake, pastry-like taste, seriously diminishing the hops, in a balancing way. Some oxydation apparent. Well-bodied, viscous and nearly pappy, bit sticky. Good one, but it ought not to get oxydized so fast. doubleo (743), San Diego, California, USA Mar 14, 2008 On-tap at Churchill’s for Hopocolypse. Pours a dark orange, almost light brown color with a creamy off-white head, some sheet lace. Smells of dark, earthy, resiny hops. Tastes about the same as it smells. Very earthy hop flavors, almosts tastes like sticks, good and bitter but lots of sweetness mixed in as well. Pretty thick body with full carbonation. 4 for effort. DenverLogan (420), Oceanside, California, USA Feb 11, 2008 Amber copper color...big floral and citrus hop aroma. Sweet, floral, fruity, rich hops...slight hop oil and candy cane. I had this on tap at the summer GF anniversary party and on cask at Hamilton’s a few days ago...lovely.
