Nice citrus with not alot of malt backing. A little too carbonated in my opinion. A bitter dry finish. Good beer! ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA

Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is juicy hops, floral hops, caramel and sweet. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are floral, piney and citrusy. Lots of hop flavors without a whole lot of hop bitterness. Lots of grapefruit and orange flavors. Nice carbonation. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a lot of lingering hop bitterness. Real good West Coast IPA. hapjydeuce (771), Del Mar, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 2, 2007 On tap at the Pizza Port Strong Ale Festival 07. Hazy deep golden color with thick head development that is very lacy and propagates scents of fresh floral hops and crystal malt. Plenty of caramel and butterscotch in the flavor, backed up by spicy hops bitterness and zesty orange citrus. This beer was a great bitter sipper to complement all the other diverse styles experimented with that day...ultimately leading to an annihilated sobriety and wrecked palate. This was one of my favorite IIPA’s of the festival for sure.
