draft at PP Strong Ale Fest 07. Clear, dark copper color. Tons of citrus in the nose. Hop forward with big citrus.

On tap @ the Stone World Bistro. Pours copper with thin off white head. Full aroma chubbed up with pine hops, some grapefruit hops and mild sweet malts hanging around out the back. The taste is big and chewy with ample malt sweetness that feebly attempts to balance the bold pine, grassy and mildly grapefruit hop bitterness. This is a nice very nice West Coast hop bomb brew with high gravity that helps feed the malt backbone. Spot on IIPA.

F’n A. This is hoppy. I had this on tap and Cask at Hamiltons 2nd Sat. This is so hoppy, my cheeks puckered for an hour. Just a wonderfully citrusy, hoppy, marijuana smelling beer. I love it.

2007 PP SAF. Dark orange color. Big grapefruit and pine aroma. Nice citrus with not alot of malt backing. A little too carbonated in my opinion. A bitter dry finish. Good beer!

Tap @ O’Briens. Poured a golden orange color with an off-white head. Nice hop forward aroma. Citrus and grapefruit almost cover the caramel malt. More citrus and grapefruit in the flavor. The bitterness on the finish was strong but balanced. Medium body and semi-dry.

Tap @ Bistro’s 8th Annual IIPA Fest. The beer poured a slightly hazed amber color with an off-white head. Floral and pine hop notes make up most of the aroma. Some malt tries to poke through. The flavor was hop forward with some bready malt. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer. 7/3/8/4/15

On tap at O’Brien’s. The Imperial IPA pours a deep orange gold color on tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is juicy hops, floral hops, caramel and sweet. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are floral, piney and citrusy. Lots of hop flavors without a whole lot of hop bitterness. Lots of grapefruit and orange flavors. Nice carbonation. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a lot of lingering hop bitterness. Real good West Coast IPA.

Amber copper color...big floral and citrus hop aroma. Sweet, floral, fruity, rich hops...slight hop oil and candy cane. I had this on tap at the summer GF anniversary party and on cask at Hamilton’s a few days ago...lovely.
