The best offering from green flash to date. It has an amber/copper color and a good hop/malt balance. The overall flavor is a little to sweet but very nice. I didn't realize the alcohol level was this high, so needless to say it's hidden nicely. Smooth indeed. A solid beer.

Amber color with a decent tan head. Malty, sweet, fruity aroma. Decent alcohol bite with a warm nutty finish.

Copper body with a nice, white head. Smooth body with nice drinkability. Fairly hoppy with moderate maltiness underneath. Toffee and caramel malts with citrusy, resiny, berry hops and a nice bitterness. Long, lasting finish with a smooth mouthfeel. Well hidden alcohol.

Sampled @ Strong Ale Fest San Diego

The beer poured a translucent brown with a smallish head that was frothy and light tan in color, the lace a decent covering upon the glass. Nose sweet malt and hints of caramel, quite pleasant with the start thickly malted and sweet, top middling in fell. The finish has a stern acidity and the hops majestic in their spiciness, quite dry and lingering aftertaste, a quite nice deer that I sampled a few times to get a handle on.

Sampled at the Pizza Port 2003 Strong Ale Fest. A medium brown amber color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is malty and sweet with touches of oranges. A medium bodied American Strong Ale. Malts are nutty and fruity. Hops are slightly spicy. Nice blend of fruit flavors and spiciness. Well balanced. This is a very subtly crafted, tasty Christmas beer. Very slight alcohol bite. Mouthfeel is full and round, Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.

what a creative name..this beer sat a deep reddish bronz with thin lacing..the nose was sprucy, spicy, and subtly emmitting christmasy vibes..the maltiness was strong and maybe a tad too strong..there was some bitterness, some saltiness, more spruce and licorice notes as well..
