Draft at GF festival. Dark brown-black hue with mostly dissipating tan head. Nose is mostly coffee with hints of vanilla and roast. Flavor is coffee malts with a tinge of milk chocolate, vanilla, grass, cherries, Belgian yeast and Candi, finishes on the sweeter Belgian side. Medium-full body, creamy smooth texture, mild carbonation. A balanced roasty coffee stout balanced out with sweet fruits and Belgian characteristics, delcious and easy drinking.

Tap @ Hamiltons. Pours deep brown almost black with a small tan ring. Nose of dark fruits, candi sugar and some cocoa dust. Flavor was mostly dark fruits with some cocoa and a good malt back bone.

Pours a medium dark brown with a hint of a tan head. Nose is cocoa and hints of yeast, and spices. Taste is very drinkable, milk chocolate, floral and spice, hint of chalk, dryer than the regular stout.

On tap at Stone 10/17. Thick tan head to sticky lace. Sweet nose, like it’s a stout with a shot of a sour dropped in. Taste is malt and tart together. A bit of creaminess follows.

Draft. Pours a black body with a tan head. Licorice and chewy chocolate notes. A nitro like sweet character with some candied sweetness. Dry with a light bitter roast to round out. Nice brew.

On tap at Green Flash with a sign that says "New!". Big brown head. Smooth chocolatey taste. Definitely reminiscent of their wonderful double stout. The belgian yeast doesn’t stand out. Also very little roastiness. I’m not a big of roast anyway. Light sweetness. Wonderful.
