Nose is mostly coffee with hints of vanilla and roast. Flavor is coffee malts with a tinge of milk chocolate, vanilla, grass, cherries, Belgian yeast and Candi, finishes on the sweeter Belgian side. Medium-full body, creamy smooth texture, mild carbonation. A balanced roasty coffee stout balanced out with sweet fruits and Belgian characteristics, delcious and easy drinking. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 12, 2009 On tap at Green Flash with a sign that says "New!". Big brown head. Smooth chocolatey taste. Definitely reminiscent of their wonderful double stout. The belgian yeast doesn’t stand out. Also very little roastiness. I’m not a big of roast anyway. Light sweetness. Wonderful.
