keepersj12 (428), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Oct 12, 2008 Throw back type beer. Reminds me of the beers my dad drank in the taverns in and around Philly. Nice easy drinking beer. Rciesla (897), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Oct 10, 2008 Bottle from oak tree. Pours an orange yellow body with a white quickly diminishing head. Burnt malt in the aroma and some hop stuborness. Very malty with a hint of light citrus. Simple beer. chrisafari (96), Orange, California, USA Sep 21, 2008 On Cask at Stone Brewing Co. World Bistro and Gardens. Aroma is hops and pine. Pours pale yellow/orange with nice rocky head, pretty clear for cask. Flavor begins sweet and mellow with a hint of grapefruit. Finishes with a great hoppiness, with an emphasis on pine and again subtle grapefruit. Medium body with great lacing down the glass (cask adds to the nice body). Really enjoyable on cask, very drinkable. But, I’m not sure I would have enjoyed it as much on tap or bottled. Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 15, 2008 Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of peaches as well as other fruits, and hints of hops. The flavor is sweetmalty with strong notes of peaches and hints of hops. Thanks Alex (fiulijn) for sharing. kwoeltje (1222), Manchester, Missouri, USA Sep 11, 2008 (bottle) amber orange with small white head. Abundant pine hops aroma. Flavor is strong pine hops with decent malt for balance.
