Commercial Description:
This English-style Summer Ale has a bright golden color as the name indicates. Cascade hops impart a floral aroma that is accented by citrus notes lent from Chinook hops. The hop flavors mingle with with premium pale malted barley to create a flavorful ale that is crisp and refreshing.

12oz bottle sampled at Columbus Tasting V - Pours pale golden with a short white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Flavor is quite hoppy with floral notes and some lemon. Behind the hops there are some light grains. Palate is crisp and very clean feeling with a bitter dry finish.

Pale golden in color, nice head and retention, good lacing. Aroma was light grainy malts, bready, some citrus hopping. The flavor was bready, some light nuts, balanced by a touch of citrus and pine hops. A pretty smooth and easy going beer, very drinkable, not overly carbonated, light, but flavorful.

Bottle. I seemed to have liked this beer more than most. It pours with an amber color and a medium head. The aroma is very floral and fruity. Flavors are also dominated by this floral character and a bit of grapefruit. However I could ot detect any strong hoppiness. Initially there was a strange aftertaste, but it seemed to dissipate or perhaps I just stopped noticing it.Body is medium and the beer is refreshing. A good way to start a beer tasting evening.

12 oz bottle via Malt of The Earth Beer Club. Pours a clear copper with a large white head that leaves a lot of spider lace as it recedes. Nose is a nice floral hoppiness. Taste is very hoppy, orange, grapefruit and some grassy/earthy hops. Dry GRASSY/GRAINY somewhat metallic finish. High carbonation. Light/medium bodied.

Pours a translucent golden with hints of orange and an average bubbly off white head that left hints of lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, some lighter citrus and pine hop presence with hints of floral. Aroma along the same lines with the malts slightly more up front than the hops, although there is still a decent amount of bitterness there that lingers. Picking up a little bit of iced tea in the flavor. A decent pale ale, kind of what I would expect from the style but nothing groundbreaking.

12oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of pine, a little earthy and citrus. Tastes of citrus and grain. Thinner body.
