Golden color. Hoppy nose with light biscuity malt characteristics. Nice body, finally a brewer that has some yummy base malts. I’ve been visiting too many side-show breweries. 1FastSTi (2580), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale golden color with a large white head. The aroma is sour macro tangy with some light fruit and a mildly skunky finish. The flavor is dry and bitter with floral hops. There is no body to speak of and there is a sour macro tang underneath. MLdragoon (14), Lafayette, Indiana, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 9, 2006 12 oz bottle, via FlacoAlto. Pours a golden straw color with a fluffy white head. Clear with moderate visible carbonation. Sharp and clean floral hop aroma over a grasy and lightly malty base. Very harsh bitterness to the flavor, overpowering any of the malt characteristics. Finish is one dimensionally bitter as well. Lighter bodied with prickly and spritzey carbonation. This beer was just an all out assault of bitterness. It really isn’t all that hoppy per se, just loads of quinine-like bitterness.
