Commercial Description:
This English-style Summer Ale has a bright golden color as the name indicates. Cascade hops impart a floral aroma that is accented by citrus notes lent from Chinook hops. The hop flavors mingle with with premium pale malted barley to create a flavorful ale that is crisp and refreshing.

on tap-pours a white head and hazy gold color. Aroma is light crisp floral hops. Taste is light crisp floral hops, with some metallic (?+chinook), faint light malt. Dry finish.

This is a wonderful beer that beautifully balances refreshing, crisp lightness and smoothness with great taste, body, and both malt and hop character. It is a golden amber with a good-sized, dense off-white head that lasts forever, only slowly shrinking, and leaving some good lacing. The aroma is light but extremely pleasant, honey, lightly toasted grain, pine and citrus. The taste from start through the long finish has wonderful sweet-bitter balance, elements of toffee, grain, honey, grapefruit and lemon. The palate is smooth but still lightly crisp at the end. In the end, this beer is outstanding for the balance it achieves between lightness, body, and flavour blending the lightness of a good, crisp pale lager with the flavour and body of a malty-hoppy ale.

pours a murky gold with a thin white head. Citrus, malt, and floral hops in the nose. Flavor is similar, a little sweeter than expected. Finishes clean. Decent.

12 oz. glass bottle- color of golden yellow, with a thin white head - nose of nice hops, with balanced malt, and hint of sour lemon – taste of citrus mostly lemon, hops are kind of harsh, and slight malt - body is medium, and with medium high carbonation – aftertaste of hops, resin, slightly bitter, and lingering

Pours a little hazy gold with a white head that fades a little quick. The aroma is your average pale ale. Some hops, citrus and a touch of malt. Tastes is good. A little grainy, some citrus and a nice amount of hops. Finishes bitter, dry and hoppy. Good carbonation. Light hoppy and could drink these all day at a backyard BBQ.

12oz bottle. Pours a straw color, just like the bottle says! Medium thick white head with smaller bubbles that dissapate quickly and leave lace on the glass. Smells of a nice blend of a healthy amount of hops and malt. I can taste more of the malt than the hops really. Aftertaste of grain, malt of course. Palate is fizzy, well carbonated, crisp and smooth. This isn’t my favorite XPA, Alesmith X gets that award, but this is a nice beer for a hot day. A close second.

Poured a light, cloudy golden hue with a medium-to-small white head. Nose of dry malts and weak hops. Finished with a little more hop profile than in first sip. Super sessionable, but not very memorable.
