Light, spotty lacing. Aroma is light citrus hops and toasted malt. Very subtle. Flavor is light hops and very little malt. Palate is slightly bitter and dry. Medium body. I had high hopes for this beer. It was a slight let down compared to the other GF beers I’ve had. Still, would make a decent session beer. Worth a try. guzzler67 (1281), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Amber/gold appearance with a large white head and very good lacing. Citrus hop aroma underlined with biscuit-like malts. Assorted hop flavors play well together, interrupted early by some grainy malts, but the hops regain strength in the bitter finish. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel, with decent depth on the palate. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 26, 2007 Updated: Jul 30, 2007Bottle from Shawan Liquors in Hunt Valley, MD. Pours amber wth a nice white head. Aroma of grapefruity hops. Medium bodied with a refreshing texture. The pale malts are merely a shadow to the sharp, grassy and dry bitterness. Notes of citrus and tea on the finish, but with very little to no residual sweetness. Not really to my liking with the lack of malt backbone and residual sweetness, but still a well crafted beer if you prefer this type of pale. marchcow (664), Coralville, Iowa, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 17, 2007 So what we have here is a golden colored ale with a massive white head that took me by surprise and overflowed onto the counter that I had just cleaned. Fuckers. A wee bit of grapefruit the aroma and not much else. Bitter and thin beer with hints of grapefruit and not much else. Would be nice after mowing the lawn. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 2, 2007 Pretty solid APA in general, a sessionable brew for sure. Crisp, amber, and a cascade-y dominance that suggests serious SNPA envy. The mouthfeel is nice and full but things are occasionally a tad rough on the palate, not so much a dry finish as a bit cardboard-y. Not bad.
