Commercial Description:
Our Hefeweizen is a light, refreshing ale. It is a fine example of German-style wheat beer, called "Weissebier" in Germany. It has the banana/clove aroma that is typical of the style. The aromas are a product of the authentic, traditional yeast used in making the beer.

Aroma: sweet, spicy, smokiness, some sour milk/yogurt scents, lemons and oranges
Appearance: murky yellow-orange, white head, lacing
Flavor: spicy citrus and coriander, slight soapiness
Palate: very smooth, sweet citrus, thick body and filling but not too much, almost a melon-like aftertaste

OBF 2004. Spicy yeast, coriander, oranges and grapefruit in a punchy nose. Creamy texture, light but flavorful with oranges, lemons, melon, and various spices... with a similar spicy finish.

8/23/03 at Stone 7th Anniversary Bash - took me this long to discover that the Green Flash Hefe has finally made it into the database... Pours yellow and hazy with a nice white head. Aroma is fruity, banana and spicy. Flavor is also fruity, yeasty and very drinkable, nice summer beer. Light body and pleasant carbonation.

This hefe pours with a very cloudy pale yellow body topped by a thick white head with good lacing. The aroma is sweet and full of banana fruitiness with a touch of yeast. Great aroma. The flavor is slightly sweet with a little sourness, a touch of lemon and some banana notes. Light bodied, smooth and a touch dry.

BLah Blah Blah....Oh how I dislike amercian hefeweizens. Pours a light golden hue with a small white head. The only saving grace of this beer was the lemon that covered the flavor.

Light gold color. Aroma is fruit and sweet. A medium bodied hefeweizen. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are mild and slightly spicy. Touches of banana and clove flavors. Light and refreshing, easy drinking hefe. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
