The finish lingers slightly. Solid brew! elihapa (1067), Honolulu, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Bottle. Pours orange-amber, clear, and with a creamed corn coloration. Aroma is of “wet” pine, leaves, and grapefruit. Flavor is beautifully juicy, a nice red fruit-caramel bite, followed with a firm bitterness. A bit of toasted malt as well, along with some dry chocolate in the finish. Palate is smooth throughout. Delicious, if you ask me. VitaminR (442), Colorado, USA

Appearance: Poured a clear dark red color with a one finger off white head. Aroma: Resin and caramel malt. Flavor: Caramel malt base with a strong resin and citrus finish. Palate: Medium body with solid carbonation. Overall: Excellent Amber ale. Would tend to classify this more towards an IPA, but a solid beer nonetheless.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Decent sized tan head of fine bubbles. Light carbonation. Nicely balanced aroma between the malts and hops presence. Some floral hops, boiled vegetables and some sweet malts. Color is a crimson brown with a good bit of chunky floaters in there. Big hops presence in the flavor with lots of flowers, qrapefruit pith, roasted grains and some sticky malts. Bittterness hits you up front and late swallow and lingers for quite a while. A pretty good brew if you are a hop head but a little bit more than I like.
