Now on tap at Mgaoos. Certainly just as good in Draft. A little guerky so a bit unusual. larryLSB (163), La Selva Beach, California, USA

Nose of malts and hops with a hint of fruit. Taste was smooth, hoppy and a bit sweet. Nice aftertaste, a very enjoyable beer. abcfan (247), New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Great beer. Aroma is full of hops, hops and hops. Full of pine and citrus. Taste is rather bitter, yet crisp, refreshing and sticky. A lot going on with this one. Finishes with a creamy malt base and strong hop bite. Would enjoy again. ben4321 (1041), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma: Hoppy nose for an amber, pine, earth, caramel, grass, citrus, roasted malts
Appearance: Nice clearish reddish color, light bubbles, about an inch of off white head.
Flavor: Good job of mixing the typical malt flavors of an amber with the hoppiness of an IPA.
Palate: Nice mouthfeel here, good amount of body, a nice drinking brew
Overall Impression:
I liked this one, they did a nice job of mixing the best aspects of an amber and an IPA. I like this one, well done by the guys at Green Flash. beer4mencc1701 (21), Irving, Texas, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 6, 2009 On tap at Filmore Pub, downtown Plano. A dark glossy amber beer that smells of Hops-Hops-super-sticky-resin-pine-Hops. He thought that after the first taste (which included a deep malt finish) that the hops then overpowered later sips. She found the tongue-coating sharp tangy hops & alcohol-forward flavors very agreeable & could still taste the roasty malted flavors. Coats the entire mouth, but crisp with agressive hoppy after taste. Would definitely order again. madsberg (5059), Søborg, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Liqourice, caramel, pine and flowers in the aroma. Flavour is citric, piney, caramellic and has some herbal and flowery notes. A bit grassy. Medium bodied. Dry. heavy bitter and citric end. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2009 Pours a dark red with little head. Aroma is piney hops, citrus, & dash of fruit. Taste is well like an IPA with mild to medium bitterness. A lot of sediment(yeast) floating around. Overall a pretty decent beer, & yes I would call it a red IPA. BBB63 (4269), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Bottle served in my NB worthy glass: Coppery hue with a nice frothy head and good lacing. The aroma has notes of moderate piney and resiny hops, some grassiness, caramel and crystal malt, hint of grapefruit and pepper. The taste is more towards the sweeter side with the malts very much a player but the bitterness and citric elements are still found. The best part of the palate s towards the finish with a hop spice snap that has part pepper and part rye character. The finish is a tad chalky and astringent. The mouth feel is actually quite reserved, not as biting nor lively as most hop forward brews. All in all more that acceptable but could be a bit cleaner and sharper on the palate and finish.... the it would actually be a Hop Head beer.
