Draft at Falling Rock Tap House in Denver. Deep mahogany with a medium tan head. Aroma is moderately hoppy and sweet. Doughy malts and citrusy hops are equally present in the flavor. Finishes dry, smooth and slightly tangy. Nice summer quaffer.

Oct 13, 2008 Poured a nice reddish amber color with a white head. Aroma was nice and hoppy, mainly floral notes. Flavor was a bit bitter and grassy with a nice citrusy flavor. Good overall beer. Excellent for the style.

Oct 13, 2008 On tap. I am surprised that this is an amber and not an IPA., because the hops are front and center in this brew. Fresh, grassy hops, with grapefruit and pine flavors, mostly dry and with a touch of sweat.

Oct 12, 2008 Nice red amber color with a small head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Flavor is the same with a fantastic hop bite. Extremely dry finish. Excellent.

Oct 11, 2008 It has a great Amber color to it and nice off white head. It has an amazingly bitter smell. Spicy, hoppy,very inviting. The taste is wow! To say its bitter is an understatement.it has a spicy, bitter, and just ridiculously hoppy taste.

Oct 9, 2008 Pours a beautiful red with a fluffy tan head. I’d take a nap on it. Beautiful aromas coming from the Amarillo hops; also a whiff of caramel. Tastes magnificent. A burst of hops, some spicy sweetness, and some more hops. Very drinkable but some how packs a punch at 6%. Of note, more flavorful and lively on tap.
