Jun 28, 2008 Bottle from River’s Bend. Pours a clear copper color with an average rocky off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Heavy hoppy citrus aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy hoppy bitter flavor with a good bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very good brew.

Jun 27, 2008 Nice copper pour. Piney hops totally there, grapefruit. Softer vanilla, caramel and sugary flavors dance with the sharp citrusy hops. Sweeter thinner body with decent amount of balance. Nice.

Jun 27, 2008 (Bottled, 0.66l) Very hazy golden with a medium, frothy and lacy head. Soft aroma with lemony-aromatic hops and pale malt. Flavor of grainy malt, alcohol, some berries, and somewhat stingy hops. Medium-bodied, bitter and soft-carbonated palate. A double IPA with pronounced bitterness and alcohol - but not that well balanced.

Jun 24, 2008 Pours copper with off-white head. Aroma with tons of great grapefruit, lemon, and orange hops melded well with caramel. Flavor contains a nice sweet caramel-citrus beginning, with the caramel lasting throughout, finishing with some unique spiciness. Great bitterness as well, and a nice long, dry finish.

Jun 23, 2008 22 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with 3 cm of foamy off-white head that is slowly diminishing. Aroma of bitter and sweet citrus hops. Initial flavor is sweet, but quickly turns overly hoppy and spicy. Medium body, moderate lacing, light carbonation, and some alcohol presence. Overall, decent imperial ipa, had better but worth a try.

Jun 21, 2008 while there can never be enough west coast double IPAs in the world, this one was too "nice" for my taste. it did have a rather pleasant and rounded hop profile, but it wasn’t as sharp as i would have liked.

Jun 21, 2008 Golden-orange colour, white head. Aroma has nice citrus and grapefruits hops. Flavour has malts and generous pine and grapefruit hops. Palate is bitter and dry. Long finish. Excellent!

Jun 20, 2008 tropical mango papaya aroma let’s me know i’m in for something good. orange red sunset with an initial dense head that looks like it could sustain a cherry. great lacing. white pepper throughout softens the bite and the tropical syrup base. flavors are solidly together, none of them rise out of the pack.
