Commercial Description:
"San Diego-style IPA, as it has come to be known by many, is a super-hoppy, high gravity, yet highly quaffable ale. Green Flash Imperial IPA is created in this new tradition, with intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Summit and Nugget hops. It’s all about the hops!" -- Brewmaster Chuck Silva

Excellent strong hop aroma, followed by a hoppy, yet not overwhelming flavor. Quite herbal hop finish.

Pine and greatfruit hops on the nose with a definite herbal character. This would go well with pizza. Similar body with a thick mouthfeel. Orange color.

Loads of hops. Some pine and grapefruit, and intensely herbal. Full and thick palate. Substantial white head and orange colored beer. I think i prefer the regular Green Flash.

Pours bronze into a snifter. Offwhite head quickly subsides to skim surface. Grapefruit, pine and resin aromas. Sweet crisp malt upfront and a lasting citrus rind finish.

Bomber. Pours a crystal clear dark golden color with a nice foamy white head and decent lacing. Nose is all grapefruit citrusy hops. Palate is mostly citrus with some pine overtones and a very slight malt background. Finishes with a lingering bitter aftertaste. I liked this one and after some of the crappy foreign pale lagers I just had, this one was a welcomed change.
