Commercial Description:
"San Diego-style IPA, as it has come to be known by many, is a super-hoppy, high gravity, yet highly quaffable ale. Green Flash Imperial IPA is created in this new tradition, with intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Summit and Nugget hops. It’s all about the hops!" -- Brewmaster Chuck Silva

Bomber poured into my pint glass produced a good two fingers worth of that had great retention. On top of a clear copper body Tons of floral hop aroma citrus and pine fill your nose Wow this has a good balance in flavor for 101 I.B.U there is enough malt to keep the hops in check Mouth feel is medium with average carbonation Good beer, the alcohol was well hidden to me. I don’t think I could drink more than one bomber of these per sitting

On-tap at Churchill’s today. Pours a cloudy burnt orange color with a thin creamy offwhite head, leaves lots of lace. Stinks of hops... Dark and grassy smelling. The taste isn’t super bitter, earthy hops, somewhat syrupy sweet.. Mouthfeel is syrupy and pretty thick. When fresh, it’s good. Good carbonation.

Bomber from G&G. Pours a very nice golden orange, not quite amber with a good, solid head and nice carbonation. Aroma was room-filling and somewhat surprising. Scents of peach, grapefruit, and vanilla. I was surpised that the Summit and Nugget hops had this quality of aroma. Flavor is dominated by the hops, but the malt comes through later. Excellently bitter after the swallow, with a smooth aftertaste. 9% abv but very drinkable. Overall, a very solid double IPA that may not stand out as unique, but is certainly high quality.

Bottle at Black Tiger, NYC. Golden color, nice creamy offwhite head. Fruity, creamy aroma, pine apples and citrus, some grass, hay and with peach notes. Fruity and hoppy flavor, grass, perfume. Rather bitter and with a dry grassy finish.

Bottle. High fluffy but lasting white head. Clear golden body. Spicy fruity and hoppy aroma. Hops dominated flavor of course but quite fresh and clean. Heavily carbonated and a long bitter aftertaste. Alcohol present but I would not have guessed on 9%.
