Commercial Description:
"San Diego-style IPA, as it has come to be known by many, is a super-hoppy, high gravity, yet highly quaffable ale. Green Flash Imperial IPA is created in this new tradition, with intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Summit and Nugget hops. It’s all about the hops!" -- Brewmaster Chuck Silva

Poured a slightly hazy amber orange color body with a big, sticky, off-white head. The aroma is sweet pine and oranges with some carmel. Flavor has the same hop profile as the regular IPA with a much bigger malt backbone. Seemed a little off balance in the wrong direction, a little too malty.

This is more of on the lines of what im looking for in an IIPA. Copper color with a big smack of hops and pine. Flavor was the same with a grassy citrus finish to it. the aftertaste hung around as well. Outstanding brew.

Bottle from Daniel, thanks. One I have wanted to try for a long time, and the other night I finally got to try it. Pours out an orange / yellow color with a white head on it. Sweet hoppy smell full of pine and grassy and plenty of citrus. The taste is mostly hops, balanced very well, fresh tasting. Not overly bitter, but a very nice double ipa which one could easily session. This beer would probably not be very good with age, so thank god this one was fresh. No alcohol detected, just a nice west coast IPA. Thanks.

This is a perfect example of the PERFECT West Coast IIPA. The hops balance, better than any other IIPA, the malt adds sweetness to the hops and the result is a perfectly balanced, high alcohol IPA that can be taken in session if you’re looking to push the envelope...a lot! This stuff pours a nice carmel golden amber, with minimal white head. Lacing present, but not too much. Flavor is a mellow, yet very hopped and graciously malted golden flavor.

22 oz bomber. Pours a cloudy amber with a 1/2 inch off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma of citrus - orange, I think - as well as pine. Flavor was orange and pine. Mouthfeel was medium and creamy with a good bitter aftertaste. Nice IIPA.

Thanks to riversideAK for this beer. 22oz bomber. Pours a light gold with a weak frothy head. The aroma is strong; a fierce hoppy/pine aroma that stands out. The taste is a strong hop presence; full of pine and citrus. There is also a great floral and malt presence. Really well made and enjoyable. 101 IBU but also really easy to drink. 9% no way, the alcohol is not noticable. Great!
