Aroma: Huge hoppy nose, pine, citrus
Appearance: Clear golden color, white head, spotty lacing, and some rising bubbles in the glass
Flavor: Big hops. Not a lot more to say here, not a complex flavor, but a hop bomb.
Palate: Nice mouthfeel, medium body
Overall Impression:
This isn’t the most complex beer in the world, but I love the huge hops flavor, and I enjoyed drinking this one. It is a tasty beer for fans of the hops. slitcher (98), Freeport, Illinois, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 16, 2009 Pours a light amber with a medium head that leaves a nice lacing. Aroma of piney hops smack you in the nose. Flavor is hops, hops, and more hops with a slight malt backbone and slight warming alcohol. This is the hoppiest beer I have ever had, and I am in heaven! This is a beer for true hop heads only. Non hop desciples probably won’t like this at all, it is THAT hoppy and bitter! savnac (443), Palmer, Alaska, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 14, 2009 22 oz bottle. Orange/amber with a medium sized off white head. Aroma of ganja, grass, pine, lemon and caramel. Sweet malt base cut with a very bitter flavor and a long bitter finish. Medium body with average carbonation, creamy mouth feel and a long finish. Light alcohol taste. This is a solid IIPA and would like to try on tap. Narnad (714), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 1, 2009 Pours a golden-orange with moderate carbonation and a thick, off-white head that leaves behind awesome lacing. Aroma is a very noticeable herbal, citrus and a very, very heavy does of bitterness. The flavor is almost all a very bitter leafiness with some light citrus and semi-sweet two row malt notes at the end. The bitterness is so strong that your taste buds pucker and it makes your tongue feel extra dry.Mouth feel of the brew is perfect with a mod/heavy feeling to it. The lacing produced from this beer is fantastic and actually builds out from the glass, its really that thick. Overall just a slightly too bitter to make the beer very well rounded but it is a very good brew by a solid brewery. mgoy (343), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2009 I tried Gren Flash at Blue Smoke in New york with a big plate of ribs.
Green Flash is a an amber colored beer with an average off white head. The aroma is very spicy and herbal while the flavor is sweet.
The finish is quite enjoyable as it is neither too bitter nor too weak. ericandersnavy (1129), crossroads, Texas, USA
