Aroma is sweet, juicy citrusy and flowery hops. Flavor is a lot of citrus hops, a bit of a caramel malt, and ending with a long, strong hop bitterness. Really well done here, good DIPA.

Quickly gains a citric and sharp piney character. Bitterness in the finish but not overpowering. Slightly oxidized hops but not too bad. Medium body and a fizzy carbonation. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Honey colored brew. Powerful pine sap aroma with a syrupy feel. Strong notes of herb, specifically oregano and rosemary, that balance out the hop character. A sweet and bitter flavor, nicely balanced and full bodied. Earthy and a subtly smoky with a nice hop bitterness. A nice but not overwhelmingly complex brew; definitely a winner.
