| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Poured a darker gold. Nose was spicy, floral and citrus hops. Some candy sweetness. Flavor was a strange mix of belgian yeast character and C hops. Nice caramel malt sweetness and a not so overwhelming alcohol presence eventually balanced out the yeast/hop medley. Probably one of the best executions of a style i don’t really care for (belgian IPA). sayravai (3752), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2009 (Bottled) Pale copper with a smallish, but firm head. Aroma of some warming alcohol, soft spiciness, some lemon and raisins. Spicy-alcoholic flavor with toffee maltiness and low bitterness. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Can’t really get the IPA from this, but nevertheless it’s an ok, spicy tripel with lots of maltiness. oh6gdx (8917), Vasa, Finland
