Very good melange of West COast IPA and Belgian. Aroma is hoppy, and complex. Taste is above average mouthfeel, almost full mouthfeel. Taste is satisfying: Controlled hoppiness, with yeast notes.

Big nose with the unfortunate overtone of that sour stall beer smell which plagues most drinking establishments. Not that is is unpleasant but not the best association. Once you get past that it smells of spicy cloves with earth overtone and some slight flower sent. A golden amber pour with an amazing creamy head, it looks light a pale yellow pillowy cloud. Slow to settle leaving prodigious lacing. The first sip seemed too sweet (clear taste of candy sugar) but that initial sweetness soon gives way to the hops. Some citrus some flower but the bitter is a little to out of balance. I am inclined to say too much but I think that it is a good amount just not a perfect balance. Soft but full mouth feel I like the combination to come through a little more but short of that this is damn good. Really a fabulous beer.

22 oz bottle courtesy of MaltOMeal. Pour is cloudy hazy orange, reddish with a one inch off white head that falls pretty quick. Some patchy lacing. Aroma of resin citrus hops, toasted bread malt and faint spicy yeastiness. Taste is bitter hops immediately, followed by citrus peel sweetness, then the malt leading to a honey sweet drying finish, followed by another touch of bitterness. There is a grassy, straw flavor to the long finish. Flavorful beer, with quite a bit going on. Palate starts medium, but thins out towards its very dry finish. Hint of alcohol in the warming aftertaste. This was nice, but not terribly refined. Thanks for sending this my way Bill.

Hazy golden color with a big beige head. Aroma of piney hops, yeast, spices and some banana. Flavor of piney hops, sweet malts and a little fruit.

Pours from 22 oz bottle a semi murky orange amber color, medium carbonation and a very dense, frothy, white head that sticks around while drinking. Aroma is a mix of pine, grass and citrus hops notes, yeasty, doughy with some spice and a slight banana scent. Flavor has an alcohol warmth throughout the tasting. A sweet bread flavor hits first with some light banana esters and yeasty notes, moves into a piny/grassy hop bitterness bite and finishes with very ripe banana flavor. The beer is very smooth and probably one of the more unique blending of styles I have ever had the chance to drink. Overall I am very pleased with this selection for the evening, highly recommending it to those have the opportunity to pick up locally. This may be one I keep around in my fridge on a consistent basis due to the great range of flavors present.

Bottle thanks to me. Big head and hazy gold. Nose is very citrusy, lemony, with oranges also evident. Taste is very light bodied, mellow, with some hops but also that familiar Belgian yeast. Is there Brett in here? Alcohol is not evident. Very drinkable and I will search this out when it hits Houston.

Le Freak, man, glad to try this in my neck of the fat sucked wheather mans neighborhood ... lots of belgian honey hops... damn frigidy good lacing and coco white head ... parole officer says i need an upgrade, or they won’t give me back my stabbin knife... wow, fantastic brew here.. bitter , sweeet, balanced like a eraser on a pencil erasing a doodle of a naked man at that porno dudes house ... so so easy to drink... smooth, enjoyable, the real mccoy ... at&t, ever been to brussels, cuz i want to kick your arse... quite an amazingly enjoyable and crisp bitter example of the hop (and the genius thinking out of the box yeast examples in this brew)and the playful sensation of bitterness on the tongue and complete coating of the trap... ballack, what a goal, but roons was tap-rific! ... i may not make sense to you the reader, who reads my crap anyway, but this is a great beer, great bitterness, smooth as silk, aggressive yet retarded kitten like... buy this if you see it, me personally will be buying quite a few more bottles of this wonderful elixer, or butt sex...

22 oz bomber from Spirits Red Bank. I drank the whole bottle in a Duvel tulip style glass in two pours of about 11 oz each pour. The initial pour was a super clear copper orange body with tons of visible rising carbonation and a large tightly packed pluffy white head that leaves tons of lace. The second pour was a murky solid orange body with the same great head that actually had even more staying power. Aroma on this one is very much dominated by the Belgian triple style and not so much from the Imperial Pale Ale. Aroma was loads of peppery spices, over ripe banana, yeast, fresh dough, flowers and grapefruit rind. Palate has a medium/full mouthfeel, slightly creamy with lots of lively carbonation and finishes rather dry and bitter. At first I wasn’t sure about the palate but it really grew on me with the creamy/dry/bitter combo. Flavor is once again triple dominated with lots of peppery spices, yeast, bread, flower stems(don’t ask I was an odd child), grapefruit rind. Not sure if it was the beer warming up or the 9% ABV warming me up but by the time my bomber was gone I was really wanting some more.
