Commercial Description:
The Nut Brown is an English-Style Ale having rich caramel malt flavors and drying nutty characteristics in the finish. British and Belgian specialty malts are used in this brew to enhance the depth of malt flavor and aroma. Mild hops are used to lend just the right balance to the lush malt flavors and medium body.

The body was dark brown with a slightly yellowish colored head. The aroma was a hint of milk chocolate with some peaches and peanuts. The taste had sweet chocolate with some peanut shells. There was also a hint of tobacco. A nice brown.

Slightly hazy medium brown with very little head. Wow. More than I expected....amazing caramel taste and aroma. Hints of cinnamon and cloves in the aroma. A bit thin. Great example of a nut brown, can’t think of one done better.

Pours a dark nutty amber brown color with a medium sized creamy froth. Aroma is a malty pecan w/ bright hops and if you dig deep you’ll catch a glimpse of buttery maple. Medium nectar w/ soft residual effers. Flavors are dry and malty with a defined nuttiness. A slight metalic flavor simmering in the background. Goes down creamy and finishes w/ a perfect English bitterness. A nice specimen. Highly recommended!

12 oz bottle, via fordest. Pours a clear dark brown body under a two finger beige head with decent retention. Aroma is of nutty, toasted malt, grainy huskiness, and light chocolate malt. Flavor is much the same as the aroma would indicate, very nutty with a moderate bitterness level. Mouthfeel is light bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation and a watery texture. Overall, this was your average Brown Ale, never exciting, but usually drinkable.

Clear, reddish brown appearane with a medium sized tan head and good lacing. Caramel malt aroma, nutty, with subtle dark fruit attributes. Toasty, malty, earthy taste, modestly carbonated, mildly hopped. Smooth, dry, slightly sweet finish.
