Commercial Description:
The Nut Brown is an English-Style Ale having rich caramel malt flavors and drying nutty characteristics in the finish. British and Belgian specialty malts are used in this brew to enhance the depth of malt flavor and aroma. Mild hops are used to lend just the right balance to the lush malt flavors and medium body.

medium brown color with slight ruby hues and a thick light tan foamy head with great retention and lacing. has a nutty caramely aroma. flavor is a bit grassy up front but then rounds out into a roasted flavor with subtle caramel. motuhfeel is a bit thin for my taste.

Received this as a kicker in a trade. Many similarities to an English style brown ale with a little nuttier taste probably achieved with the addition of some additional chocolate malt. Slight bitterness and lightly acidic almost reminds me of Samuel Smiths but not as smooth.

12 oz bottle pours a medium brown with ruby highlights and a slightly tan fluffy head. Hazelnuts and chocolate in the aroma. Slight bitterness in the beginning but then a rather mediocre brown that was a bit watery for my liking. The aroma had me excited, but I was let down.

Bottle from a trade ?? Pours hazy medium brown color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is light caramel malt, moderately nutty with a hint of chocolate. Similar flavors, but with more of a roasted malt character. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. There are better Green Flash beers available.

Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pours golden brown. Real good caramel malt flavors. Mild hopiness a nice bonus. I really like this brown ale!

Bottle. Pours an amber brune body with an off white head. Nutty caramel malt, some hop character and no etoh in the finish. Simple and enjoyable.

Pretty good brown. Nuttiness as the name implies with lots of roasted malt. Dark brown with a nice head.

Bottle: pours a reddish-brown with a thin white head, aroma is malty with a hint of some caramel, taste is caramel, roasted malt, yeast, thin mouthfeel. Decent.
