Nicely bitter. bb (2919), Martinez, California, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 29, 2008 On tap at the San Diego’s Brewers guild festival. There was a strong aroma of citrus and pine and the very same could be said about the flavor too. Also noted is a bitter and overbearing presence of hops which to me brings extreme pleasure to my taste buds. The hops are fresh and green and multiplied times three. Metallic finish on this one. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Tap at Hamilton’s. Pale amber-orange beer. Slightly cloudy with a thin white head. Aroma is loaded with rich hoppy pine goodness. Very fresh dry-hopped resinousness, lots of fresh juicy citrus and even more pine. As it warms the sweet hoppiness comes up a bit more. Lean toasty maltiness that shows off the sweet citrusy and piny hops. A little bit of grassiness. Great balance with a lot of fruity/piny complexity. It tastes a whole lot lighter than it is. danielcurtis81 (905), San Diego, California, USA
