Dec 7, 2008 Had on cask at Strong Ale Fest VIP. Dark, clear orange. Aromas of peaches, oranges and tangerines. Deep dark bitterness and a bit of grapefruit. Very soft and smooth coming from the cask. Impressive indeed.

Dec 6, 2008 Cask at strong ale 08, happy to have this finally since I kept missing oppurtunities to have it. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose is super hoppy and floral. Taste is exceptional, great floral, citrus, piney taste, great to have this on cask.

Dec 6, 2008 On cask the 2008 Strong Ale Festival. Great aroma. Low cask carbonation. Very hoppy taste, but not too bitter. Not too sweet. Very good.

Dec 6, 2008 On tap at the 2008 Strong Ale Festival. Cask. What a great name! Poured a medium amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral hops, and pine. Tastes of the same citrus, pine and a lighter maltiness. Nicely bitter.

Dec 1, 2008 Draft. Rich amber beer with a low off-white head. Pine/grapefruit aroma. Pine/grapefruit flavor with some malt backing. Great bitterness. Medium-plus bodied. Pine and grapefruit lingers with a nice lasting bitterness.

Nov 29, 2008 On tap at the San Diego’s Brewers guild festival. There was a strong aroma of citrus and pine and the very same could be said about the flavor too. Also noted is a bitter and overbearing presence of hops which to me brings extreme pleasure to my taste buds. The hops are fresh and green and multiplied times three. Metallic finish on this one.

Nov 27, 2008 Tap at Hamilton’s. Pale amber-orange beer. Slightly cloudy with a thin white head. Aroma is loaded with rich hoppy pine goodness. Very fresh dry-hopped resinousness, lots of fresh juicy citrus and even more pine. As it warms the sweet hoppiness comes up a bit more. Lean toasty maltiness that shows off the sweet citrusy and piny hops. A little bit of grassiness. Great balance with a lot of fruity/piny complexity. It tastes a whole lot lighter than it is.

Nov 19, 2008 Had at San Diego Brewers Guild Festival 2008. Loads of hop aromas and flavors. Grapefruit and pine cone flavors. Pretty tastey DIPA not overpowering.
