Commercial Description:
A deep reddish-amber brew that is characterized by the savory toasted flavors of Munich malt. German varieties of hops are used in the brewing process which lends a European flare that is much like the "Altbier" style of Dusseldorf. Having a medium body and a firm, crisp finish gives the perception of driness, leaving the drinker quenched and ready to quaff another.

12oz bottle poured a clear amber color with a small off white head. It had an aroma of sweet malt with some noticable hops. The taste was clean with a pritty big hop bitterness and flavor. Some caramel malts come together in the flavor after.

12 oz bottle. Deep coppery amber, solid off white head. Doughy nose, sweet malt, some herbal hoppiness. More dough flavors, medium bitter, some caramel. Light bitter caramel finish. Perfectly drinkable, pretty forgettable.

Bottle: Poured with a 50% foam tower over a beer that is indeed ruby red. Sweet and caramelly with a bit of a chalky bit. Tangy crisp, appely flavor ... good fall session beer.

Hazy deep amber body with a medium creamy light brown head. Sweet malty aroma with some caramel hints. Sweet malty flavor, some light nuttiness, and a bit more caramel.

Not a bad beer overall, but a pretty sorry altbier. The pour was copper with a tannish type head that sustained itself well. Aroma was floral hops over top of caramel. This came across more like a standard red/amber ale than anything alt. Caramel malts in the flavor and lots of floral hops. Many fruity esters in the aroma and flavor. Mouthfeel was moderate, carbonation the feature there. An ok beer, but not a true altbier.
