Commercial Description:
A deep reddish-amber brew that is characterized by the savory toasted flavors of Munich malt. German varieties of hops are used in the brewing process which lends a European flare that is much like the "Altbier" style of Dusseldorf. Having a medium body and a firm, crisp finish gives the perception of driness, leaving the drinker quenched and ready to quaff another.

12 oz bottle, via fordest. Pours a clear reddish brown under a small fizzy off-white head that faded quickly but left some nice lacing. Aroma is rather hoppy with some toasted and caramel maltiness. A little grainy with a hint of vanilla as well. Flavor is fairly dry with a good amount of Munich malt up front fading to a lightly bitter hoppy finish. Very well balanced, nothing outstanding but pretty flavorful. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. Texture is just shy of creamy. Overall, a middle of the road "red" ale. Pretty flavorful but nothing to write home about.

Pours a deep brown, with reddish highlights and a moderate, creamy-looking head. Aroma of some caramel, nuts, malts, yeast, and hops. Flavor is roasted malts, with nuts, a bit of hoppiness and some chocolate in there as well.

Bottle thanks to Santa: Dark red color, medium white head. Some lacing. Aroma some carmelly malt notes, spicy but mild hops, a bit of yeastiness as well. Flavor, spicy, well carbonated, a nice malt bill, some caramel and roasty notes. There is a slight hint of juicy hops on the finish. Pretty good stuff.

Reddish brown appearance with a small head and decent lacing. Mild, pleasant, slightly spicy, roasted malt aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Crisp, dry, spicy taste, nicely hopped, with a touch of fruitiness on the back of the tongue.

12 oz bottle. Nice red color with a minimal head that didn’t last long. Aromas were minimal as well. Mostly malts and just a touch of citrus. Flavors really brang out the hops which blended nicely with the maltiness. I thought the balance on this beer was outstanding. Pretty good.

Bottle. Dark copper to near ruby in color. Small but sturdy foamy tan head. Nose is toasty malts, light nuttiness, mild fruit notes, and spicy hops. Taste is spicy and hoppy with light caramel, toasty malts, and more fruit notes. Body is medium and sort of creamy but has a bit of dryness towards the end. Finishes with bigger fruit presence, toasted malts, light burnt caramel, and spicy hoppiness.
