Nothing sticking out as outstanding in any category, yet it was a delicious beer overall. It would make a great staple to keep in a keg if a big stout drinker. jonno (608), Brisbane, Australia

Poured beautifully, smelled good and I remember telling everyone in the bar how good it was as it hit me. Very rich and ripe, but quite smooth. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 14, 2009 Bottle. Black body with espresso brown edges and a big dark tan head. Aroma is full of roasted malt, dark chocolate, espresso, earth, overripe dark fruit, and woodiness. Flavor is roasted, espresso, nuts, chocolate but less than in the nose, mild molasses sweetness. Medium palate, a little too thin but soft, smooth, and creamy. So easy to drink. cgarvieuk (4225), Edinburgh, Scotland

The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa milk and light licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, light bitter chocolate, licorice, caramel and citrus in the slightly dry finish. It is quite nice. tokyogoat (586), San Diego, California, USA

Pours a cpuccino brown/black color with a thick creamy tan head. Laces all down the glass, and keeps a nice layer of tan cream on top.
Smells like roasted coffee and mild hops.
Taste is outstanding. Very creammy roasted malt, slightly sweet, with a bitter chocolaty aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is good, creamy, sits on the tongue, delicious. ScottyP (314), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA

Very nice! Taste is more of the same, which is a good thing. A full bodied beer with a bitter finish but its all about balance! Great beer, I’m becoming a big fan of Green Flash. Keep it up!
