Pours out a thick, opaque black, producing a slowly building , large, creamy tan head and abundant sheeting lace. Espresso and dark chocolate dominate the aroma, with some underlying notes of vanilla and spice. Full body with medium carbonation, creamy and smooth mouthfeel, and wonderfully rich. Excellent depth of flavor with treacle sweetness, roasted malt flavors lend balance, and a very soft spicy bitterness at the finish. This is a top drawer stout, not surprising from this brewer, who rarely disappoints. Skyview (4050), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Nice ’’’’souty’’’’ aroma - chocolate, coffee, etc. Very rich flavor, very smooth. Subtle dark chocolate mix with coffee and a touch of dryness in the finish. Probably a bit more than the some of it’s parts - no one component stands out, but solid as a whole. LilBeerDoctor (1502), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma of rich sweet malt, roast, and coffee. Flavor of nice coffee and roast with some wheaty, bitter hops in the finish. Nice stout, approaching an imperial stout with iits strong mouthfeel. Rich, not particularly flavorful, but still a good drink.
