Commercial Description:
Golden naked oats mashed with dark crystal and robust roasted malts create a luscious black brew with a satin smooth finish. Layering UK Target hops in the boil adds a pleasant, earthy complexity while higher fermentation temperatures enhance the overall flavor with fruity esters. An old-world style, done the Green Flash way. Big, bold, flavorful and complex – Double Stout.

Money... Pours a dark brown with a large tan head. Lacing is great. Aroma is cocoa. Tastes of cocoa, lactose, and burnt malt. Finishes with a sweet cocoa taste. Love it.

bottle - Pours black with a two finger tan head. It has a rich chocolate malt aroma. Nice. The flavor is sweet roast malt and dark chocolate with underlying hops bitterness and some coffee notes. This brew is full bodied with some bitterness in the dry finish. Good stuff. Closer to an imperial stout than a regular stout, IMO...

~ Purchased this 22 oz bomber from Shoreline Beverage in Huntington, NY. This double stout pours jet black with a small tan head that fades away into minimal lacing. For the aroma, all the usual suspects make an appearance with the addition of some light floral hops. Taste follows the nose with roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, and a touch of hops. The finish is smooth and slightly bitter. Good stuff! ~

Botella. Pitch black colour. Lovely roasty malty alco chocolate aroma. Great mouthfeel. The flavour has a very pleasant roasty maltiness, with chocolate, dark fruits and coffee. Roasty malty fionish with chocolate and some coffee. Yum indeed!

Black with big, creamy brown head / Grassy nose of roast barley / Medium to full body, somewhat chewy, with big charred malts and good hop balance on the dry finish / Flavors of cigar box, dark roast coffee, dandelions, lemon, and semisweet chocolate / Outstanding in a hoppy style.

Right up there with the really good stouts. Thick medium brown head. Coffee and chocolate notes that are probably just very well roasted barley. Nice finish. Very pleasant overall.
