Jan 14, 2009 (10/31/08) Draught sample at Blue Palms in Hollywood (thanks Brian for the free beer!). Hazy golden. Aroma of fresh tropical fruits, apricot, peach and some other fruits, spicy hints and a bit of flowers. Sweet fruity flavor with some malt, spicy yeasty notes, some wheat and a drier finish. Medium-bodied. Very pleasant.

Dec 22, 2008 Tap at Barcade. Straw yellow in color with a little white head. Floral hoppy and malty aroma. Orange and grapefruit floral notes. Citrusy spicy flavor. Sweet tasting, Medium bodied. Dry finish. Very drinkable.

Dec 8, 2008 Draft at DBA, nyc. Pours a yellow body with a 1 finger white head. Nose is floral hoppiness and a bit citrus. Lightly earthy and a bit sweet. A poor saison.

Nov 30, 2008 Appearance: Yellow orange, slightly hazy with a small head. Aroma, skunky hops, quite dusty. Flavour: Floral, sweet and honey in there too. Not superb, not bad.

Oct 21, 2008 On tap at Downtown Johnny Brown’s. Pours a very hazy pale yellow with a 2 finger white head. Nose of citrus, wheat, and some spice. Like Swoopjones said, not very saison like, more like a Witbier. Pretty solid overall.

Oct 3, 2008 On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Scores based on that its labeled a saison otherwise it would be a kick ass wit/wheat. Pours acloudy-murky yellow. Citrusy, lemon, yeasty. Not realy finding any saison-y qualities. Very drinkable & tasty but not really a saison IMO.

Herbal, very wheaty beer that masquerades as a saison.
I like:
Smelling rather fresh.
I dislike:
Straight white beer look. Misplaced vegetal undertones like bok choy or onions. The soft carbonation would better fit a larger ale, here it accentuates the thinness. Very green and herbal hops. Absent malt character.
