| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 5, 2009 This seldom beer is entered to celebrate my rating number 13,100. Draft at the Linkery at RBSG 2008. An unclear dark amber beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of wood, fruit, and youghurt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, acidic youghurt, wood, fresh fruits, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart finish. Super - I’m on the way back to the bar for another - but beware it is strong. Snojerk321 (2021), San Diego, California, USA

Poured a murky burnt orange with a small off white head, great lacing. Nose had wine, citrus, oak and some yeast. Nice to have something a little different @ the fest, I think my 3rd fav of the afternoon. wetherel (1641), Encinitas, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Nov 15, 2009 On tap at OBrien’s next to Little Freak. I like Little Freak a little better, but both are excellent. Yellow orange color. Mild sourness. Orange peel hop bitterness. Easy to drink. Low carbonation. Excellent. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 9, 2009 Draft at OBriens. Translucent orange hue, no sustaining head. Nose is big fruits, wood tones, malt, and alcohol. Flavor is sweet fruits with alcohol heat initially, transitions to a bready malt and citrus hop combo with spices and a hefty woody profile, slight traces of Bret funk and wine oak, finishes sweet and fruity. Medium-full body, thick texture, medium carbonation. A wonderfully complex IIPA complemented by hints of funk and oak, alcohol presence is a bit tough though. Pours golden orange with a nice tan head. Nose is big on the citrus and wood. Taste is really pretty great, touch of funk, but overall a nice belgian imperial ipa. yespr (12414), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Looks terrible but aroma/flavour is fantastic. hopscotch (5540), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
