Pours a hazy butterscotch color with a large head, medium head retention and lacing. Sweet aroma of candi sugar and fruity notes. Taste is sweet, with candi sugar, cotton candy, caramel and stone fruits leading into a bitter hop finish. Full bodied. Nice. Cornfield (4945), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Rating from a bomber picked up at the Friar Tuck in Bloomington, IL. It poured a deep golden body having a steady stream of rising bubbles and a thick head with rings of lace measuring the size of each drink. The nose was sweet with honey, pale malt, red stone fruits, and a touch of oranges. The flavor had the addition of alcohol, warm spices, and a light floral bitterness. Very nice. kmweaver (2465), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a slightly hazy, orange color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Solid amounts of honey, white pepper, and dried oranges in the aroma. Lively carbonation. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy amounts of candy sugar, dried oranges, and white pepper; a touch rough at the edges, with a bit of alcohol; still reasonably generous and tasty. Lengthy finish: dried orange peel, citrus, and peppery spice; nicely dry. keepersj12 (800), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA
