Commercial Description:
Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

From big bottle. Pours hazy orange with medium sized soapy head. Some carbonation bubbles evident. Aroma is citrus, cantaloupe, bananas, orange peel, with some clove. Estery, but amazingly smooth integration of several complex fruity hops and malt flavors. Rich, oily mouth feel. I usually do not like the Belgian style, but this one is rubbing off on me. Delicious. I would buy again.

Aroma is hoppy with bold yeast scents. Color is a hazy golden with gold carbonation and a thin tight head. Taste is fruity and hoppy. Starting with a medium body it goes down rich. Finish comes in fruity with banana tones and a hint of dried fruit, then a mild hop flavor and easy bitterness. After taste is clean after the fruit tones build up a bit and become a little sweeter. This is an excellent American Trippel, its complex and fruity.

Aroma is fruity and yeasty but also a decent amount of hops. Flavor is similiar. Sweet medium body. Not bad.

Sample @ brewery. It’s a pretty run-of-the-mill tripel, solid yet unspectacular. I don’t think I could add anything to the discussion here.

Pours a clear golden color with a frothy white head. Lacing is very nice. Aroma is funky. Tastes of spice and Belgian yeast dominate the palate. Finishes with a spicy warming alcohol feeling.

Pleasant golden color, nice creamy head, complex spicy aroma, great complex flavor sweet spicy and bitter finish, lovely mouthfeel. It seems a little bitter for the style, ? "west coast", but at $4.99 for a bomber ( at Applejack) it is a great bargin.
