| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Bomber of the 2005 Anniversary Trippel. Pours a cloudy amber color. Thin white head with smallish bubbles. Not a whole lot of nose to this beer. I can smell the malt and the alcohol. It smells alot like it tastes, but it tastes better than it smells, so ha ha. I love the taste of this beer. It is one of my favorite examples of a Belgian style. Palate is smooth with a little tingle and a lingering finish. Like I said this is one of my favorites. It is much more crisp than your average beer with a cork. A SoCal twist on a Belgian style. dmac (1500), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 23, 2007 22 oz bomber purchased at Spirits RB. Poured a nice orange gold with an average size foamy white head. Very sweet nos with lots of candied sugar and graininess but not a lot of fruitiness like other tripples.Medium bodied with average carbonation with a slightly dry finish. Flavors of sweet bread and grains with no detectable alcohol. I drank this and then ate way to many pigs in a blanket at a Holiday party. SuzyGreenberg (1408), Seattle, Washington, USA
