Commercial Description:
Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

Samplded in a 22 oz bottle. Very rich dark color and very strong malts in taste. Alcohol is smooth for a 9% beer and pour releases a very smooth fresh aroma of fine malts.

Good west coast interpretation of a tripel. Unfortunately, I can get a lot of better belgian tripels with worldwide distrobution and all. Nice beer though, and I wouldn’t hesitate to drink it again.

Bottle: Pours a cloudy orange gold with a white head. Aroma, yeast, cloves, some spice, bready malts. Flavor, bready pale malts, some spices, yeast, and some floral hops on the finish. Not bad.

From 75 cL bottle. pours slight hazy orange, with a white head. Spiced aroma. Spiced/yeasty flavoured. Sweet and alcohol flavoured. Finish is strong spice.6-3-6-3-12=3.0

From tap at the brewery. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and caramel malty aroma. Spiced yet smooth caramel malty. A bit too spiced for my liking. Ends spiced and slight caramel malt flavour. Light estery yeasty note. Spiced lingering finish.6-3-6-3-12=3.0

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Pours an almost clear amber golden with a tall, dense, white head. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Fairly full in body with very sweetish fruit notes, some alcohol and a very distinct yeasty accent. 290607

22 oz bottle. 3rd Anniversary Ale. Murky orange brown with an off-white head. Spotty lacing. Yeasty lemon-orange nose with hints of banana. Took a sip and, wow!, this is one wild tripel reminding me of barleywine and double IPA’s. Begins with bitter candied orange peel and tongue tip tingling tang. A squirt of pink grapefruit, rose water and white pepper. Spicy, tart, floral and fruity. Takes a while to get used to but a pretty good brew.

Bottle. Large creamy off-white head that lasted forever. Excellent thick and lasting display of lacework. Clear flat body with a lovely golden color. Appearance was very nice. Aroma of caramel, grain, citrus, Belgien yeast, peach, coriander, spice and fruit. Medium to full bodied with an alcoholic texture and an average carbonation. Moderated sweet malty flavor with light acidic and bitterness. Alcoholic warming and sweet spicy finish that lasted.

22 oz bomber. Pours with a thick, chunky head-slowly disappaites. Light copper color with a spicy, bright nose. Tastes of malts, spices, and is a very smooth and easy drinking beer. Fully body that holds all the way. Alcohol is well hidden for this high ABV. A very good American tripel.
