Commercial Description:
Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

Courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Thanks, Dave.
Body is a golden orange and holds a thumb thick lasting white head.
Aroma is sweet white fruit, yeast and a massive (for the style) hop presence. Some light herbal and dried black tea notes as well.
Fore is again sweet white fruit, black tea, lotsa hops and fairly noticeable alcohol. It’s clearly got the hallmarks of a Belgian beer, but it’s so hoppy it’s distracting. It’s not satisfying as a hoppy beer or as a Belgian ale.

22oz bottle (Trippel Label - not the 3rd Anniversary Label). Poured a medium golden / amber color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of fruits, spices (kinda of peppery), citrus, and light yeast. For some reason Ham came to mind (maybe because I’m hungry - Damn, now I’m craving a Ham sandwich). Tastes of fruits, light spices, honey, and a little bready (what would a Ham sandwich be without bread). Not overly sweet (a problem I find with the majority of USA made Tripels). Alcohol content well hidden.

Thanks to IBrew2or3. Golden orange pour nice white head. Aroma is very hoppy. Flavor is sweet hops, orange citrus mostly with grapefruit and pine also coming through. This beer taste dry hopped to hell and back, hops dominate the whole thing and nothing else really comes through. Not really on with the style, it just didn’t seem right.

An orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is very hoppy and grassy, and also has notes of yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of yeast and light notes of coriander. I is weird how hoppy the aroma is - both for the style and compared to the flavor.

So i had the 2nd half of kems pint of this fine brew while finishing up at the liars club. Lots of bannana in this, lots, and some decent citrus. I didint get a whole lot of spice in it, just a ton of fruit and some egg whites, weird. Solid brew.

Strong fruity esters, herbal, minty notes to the aroma. Clear orange coloured body is topped by a decent, fine bubbled, white head that coats the glass with sudsy lace. Moderate bitterness. Very herbal flavour with notes of celery, lemon and toasted malts that would seem more at home in a pale ale. Alcohol is very apparent. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. Overly filtered. Not very tripel like but drinkable. Bottle sampled with beerbuzzmontreal, MartinT, Olivier_MTL, Rastacouere and Yowie.

Got this in an older trade, thanks, can not rememeber... Bomber poured a bubbly amber-gold, thick foamy white head. Nose was yeast and hints of citrus. Taste was all yeast, and there is apple in the back ground. Solid effort for a style I am not too fond of.

Courtesy of Pailhead. Brightgolden copper with nice white head that fades to wispy film. Aroma nice fruit ester character balanced by a yeasty, bready malt background. Old musty hops present as well. Flavor again tons of citrus, orange, tangerine up front. Big yeast and read flavors through the middle. Tons of residuel sugar. Nice body and mouthfeel. Well done overall, and way surprised at the overall score for this one.
