Commercial Description:
Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

Hazy orange amber with a full two-finger head. spotty lacing, and the thinnest of retention. Spices and yeast highlight the aroma, with hints of tart apples and pears.Yeast from an overly aggressive pour was strong on the palate, which kind of dominated what probably would have been a pleasant honey sweetness and apple tartness backed up by citrus and spices. My bad. Light bodied, medium carbonation, and the sweetness lingers.

Bottle courtesy of Fratto. Hazy golden orange color. Nice head that softens. Some sediment but not much. Winelike aroma of heavy grapes. Almost a mint quality as well. Taste is edge of the tongue tart that sweetens quickly. Fruity sense with tingly red fruits. Finish is sweet and smooth. Not bad at all.

Bomber. Pours clear yellow with a moderate-sized, lasting white head. Aroma is yeast, pale malt, spices, and hint of noble hops. Flavor is sweet pale malts, lightly bitter hops, and pretty noticeable funky yeast. Alcohol a bit noticeable, though not too much. Hangs together a bit badly on the whole though; the yeast, hops, and malts don’t blend in the way they would in a Belgian example. However, certainly drinkable and worth trying.

Bomber. Big banana and esters on this puppy - it almost reminded me of a high octane hefe or something like that.

hazy orange beer with rapidly vanishing white head. orange, spices, alcohol, sourdough on the nose. Pale hops with spicy yeast and tropical fruit finish, but not too sweet. by second pour, alcohol does not seem so hidden.

22oz - 3rd Anniversary Trippel - Aroma is sweet malts, alcohol and dust. Flavor is mellow with bready yeast and alcohol. Palate is bitter. I’ve had this beer since it’s release and held onto it for too long.

Not that great for a tripel. Fairly drinkable, but too bland and alcoholic. Lots of wheat, biscuit, and yeast flavor. Overall too mild. It needs some more spices to be a good beer. The finish is dry with alcohol present. Not the most drinkable tripel.
