Fruity apple, winey, mild vinegarry nose. Crisp fruity palate, warming alcohol, sweet sugar, very slight spice but bery little complexity. Fits into the style buta big let down given the quality of the 2nd anniversary.

Nice head that softens. Some sediment but not much. Winelike aroma of heavy grapes. Almost a mint quality as well. Taste is edge of the tongue tart that sweetens quickly. Fruity sense with tingly red fruits. Finish is sweet and smooth. Not bad at all. Delirium (499), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Bomber. Pours clear yellow with a moderate-sized, lasting white head. Aroma is yeast, pale malt, spices, and hint of noble hops. Flavor is sweet pale malts, lightly bitter hops, and pretty noticeable funky yeast. Alcohol a bit noticeable, though not too much. Hangs together a bit badly on the whole though; the yeast, hops, and malts don’t blend in the way they would in a Belgian example. However, certainly drinkable and worth trying. drowland (1417), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Not that great for a tripel. Fairly drinkable, but too bland and alcoholic. Lots of wheat, biscuit, and yeast flavor. Overall too mild. It needs some more spices to be a good beer. The finish is dry with alcohol present. Not the most drinkable tripel. branspra (225), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy, golden color with a moderate, frothy white head. Aromas of bananas, wine, and hints of wheat. Lively mouthfeel with a relatively slick, then clean finish. Flavors of bananas, wheat, and biscuit are abound. Good beer but there are many triples to purchase that are much better.
