Comprising both pine and citrus notes in the best way. Taste is same. Tremendously well crafted Ipa, to say the least. Pawola22 (783), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2009 On tap at the brewery in Vista. Pours a golden orange body with a slight haze. Finger-width, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a sticky lacing. Aroma is very hoppy. Sugary citrus with mostly grapefruit and lemons, a light earth, and a bit of bready caramels. Flavor is resiny citrus and hop dominated. Not very aggressive, but very floral. Some light peaches and melons along with the sweet grapefruit. Finishes with a light, crisp malt and a long piney, sweet citrus stickiness. Balance never completely comes together for me. Palate is rather light and zesty. Overall, not perfect, but solid. Lots of flavor and pretty enjoyeable. Frauditor (148), Hagerstown, Maryland, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2009 I got a near skunky bottle that had the usual malt floaties in the bottom so I couldn’t accurately grade this beer as high as others. However, this is still a good IPA that along with bitterness adds a certain sweetness to the tongue.
Aroma: Usual hop scent infused with freshly baked bread.
Appearance: A body of dark amber with an of aura sun burnt yellow, with a thick, creamy white head.
Flavor: Again, just a bit off where it should be due to the bad keeping of the bottle but it is clear this is a deep IPA that thrusts the hops to your attention. The IBUs will tell you that!
Palate: Very, very light and refreshing. Unlike some IPAs that make your mouth feel heavy, this one keeps things fresh.
Overall: Give me a good bottle Brew Bros of Pittsburgh and I could have enjoyed this beer to its fullest! Otherwise it was good, even if it wasn’t in good shape. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 12, 2009 Slightly hazed orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is grapefruity for sure. Very nice clean crisp maltly flavor followed by a very nice growing bitter finish. Medium bodied with excellent carbonation. A very fine ipa to say the least.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 11, 2009 It pours a thick orange, golden amber with an off white head. It has a big sweaty aroma of peaches, grapefruit, caramel, and toffee. The taste is very thick, bordering on syrupy, with peaches, and grapefruit and a resinous piney bitterness at the end. A very intense IPA that borders on double IPA on account of the sweetness and syrupiness. stobbe74 (714), Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2009 Bottle, 12 fl. oz. pours a golden beer with a very small head. The aroma is all hops, american hops. The flavor follows the nose with american hops (grapefruit). The palate has some bitterness. Overall a good american IPA, maybe on the edge to an IIPA.
