Nice IPA. OSLO (829), Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 5, 2009 [Bottle] Pours hazy orange with a nice beige head. Aroma is pretty good, with light citrus, caramel, and a lot of herbal notes. Would have preferred more citrus and less herbal. Taste balances bitterness and malt very nicely, with sweetness and the hops (citrus, and herbal qualities) up front, transitioning nicely into malt and a touch of alcohol. Good mouthfeel, quite smooth, somewhat dry, long finish. Overall this was a high quality IPA and was very drinkable.
