| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 19, 2008 Plenty of fruity citrus and tangy hops in the nose with strong underlying malt sweetness. Opaque orange-copper coloured body is topped by a generous, fine bubbled, off white head that recedes rapidly to a low cover with nice lacing. Biscuit malt character supports resiny, tangy citrus hop flavour and very assertive bitterness. I’d love this if there were just a bit more "roundness" to the malt profile. As is, I quite like it anyways! Medium body with strong effervescence that is pleasantly tingly on the tongue and cheeks. Tulip glass. Allowed to warm from fridge temperature. Bottle (Brewery Creek, Aug-08). djd07 (751), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 18, 2008 On tap at flying saucer. Has a cloudy amber color with a small white frothy head. The aroma is a very strong hoppy aroma and citrus. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste is a strong pine hops and a spicy finish. A very good IPA from green flash.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle and served in a shaker. This IPA poured a slightly hazed amber with a nice head of off-white foam that showed some good retention. A decent amount of spider-web lacing coated the inside of the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of grapefruit rind, mango, tangerines, and caramel. The flavor was dry, citric, and moderately bitter. Just enough caramel malt to keep things in check. Really nice! The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation and a pleasing, bitter/dry finish. A really well done IPA! Glouglouburp (2867), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 15, 2008 In short: A superior IPA. Biscuits, coniferous, resinous, dry, tasty, refreshing.
How: Bottle, many times, bought at stores and received in trades, always drank fresh
The look: Cloudy dark orange body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Nose is soapy and foresty, quite pleasant actually as the soapy elements blend with the coniferous into some kind of natural aromatic forest air freshener. Taste presents a discrete buiscuit malt foundation with a whole lot of coniferous hops with a slight pineapple twist. Resinous enough to give it some Oomph but not too much to detract from its refreshing nature. A bit yeasty and pleasantly dry. A stronger more nourishing malt backbone and it would be amazing. Assertive bitterness, this is a tasty yet highly drinkable brew. The guys at Green Flash really know how to brew a solid IPA. Geography too, they know geography too.

Hop bomb! This ale reeks hops from the pour forward. Beautiful copper color, with a solid head, and above average retention.
Nose is ripe with the essence of sticky, fresh picked hops. The hops come through with guns blazing, but the finish is well balanced with the necessary malt to add depth. Pretty near to the perfect IPA.
My only disappointment with this effort is the price, @ $12.99/6pack in my area.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2008 On tap. Light pine aroma. Very hoppy, piney flavor, slightly astringent, in a good way. A touch a malt, but a very strongly bitter beer in the West Coast "tradition". Not a big fan of this style, but worked for me. dkoonce (889), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark amber, with a thick, creamy off-white head. Strong, resiny pine aroma. Incredible hop bite. This is one of the bitterest beers I’ve ever had. The hops overshadow any malt tones in this beer. As much as I love hops, this beer to too much about the hops and not a balanced beer. NoiZe (1372), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands

Orange, copper colored brew. Nice floral, citric, sweet aroma. Nice smooth, hoppy IPA. Very nice bitterness.
