| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Updated: Jun 30, 2008bottle. Nice light copper color. Thick, pillowy head foams up quick and sticks around nicely. Aromas of loads of hops- a big grapefruit citrus blast on the nose. Sharp but not overdone bitterness, tons of hop flavor. Lemons, grapefruits, some piney resin flavors. Full and layered hop character. Some toasted bread malt in the background, but this one is all hops-forward. Superb C-hop, west coast style IPA. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2008 On tap. Orange and amber in color with a frothy two-finger head that produced very nice lacing. The initial aroma was light citrus with some pine hops and plenty of pleasant floral hops. Thin malts. The flavor was some light malt overrun by pine and floral hops. Very little in terms of citrus. Super dry finish and a decent mouthfeel. oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2008 Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity hops, alcohol, sweet malts and mild notes of grass. Flavour is big grassy and flowery hops along with some fruityness carrying it up. Attempt at going for a big IPA, but a bit unbalanced in my opinion. LilBeerDoctor (1526), East Setauket, New York, USA
