Commercial Description:
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

On tap. Orange and amber in color with a frothy two-finger head that produced very nice lacing. The initial aroma was light citrus with some pine hops and plenty of pleasant floral hops. Thin malts. The flavor was some light malt overrun by pine and floral hops. Very little in terms of citrus. Super dry finish and a decent mouthfeel.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity hops, alcohol, sweet malts and mild notes of grass. Flavour is big grassy and flowery hops along with some fruityness carrying it up. Attempt at going for a big IPA, but a bit unbalanced in my opinion.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a white head that leaves nice, thick lacing. Aroma of pine, floral, grapefruit and other citrus hops. Initial flavor of piney hops with a bitter finish. As the beer warms, sweet caramel malt comes out. Medium-heavy mouthfeel. Tasty beer and pretty easy to drink. Yum!

bottle poured a caramel amber in color with a thick white frothy two finger head and great retention. there is a fair amount of sediment in the glass. aroma has juicy grapefruit, citrus peels, pine, and sweetness. mouth feel is medium. flavor hits with a hop wallop, citrus galore, and malt as an afterthought. finish is drying with resins and bitters. it’s got some good hop bite, really nice glass of hop juice.

(Bottled) Slightly hazy golden with a medium, frothy and lacy head. Very hoppy, but somewhat harsh aroma with some toffeeish hops. Strong grapefruity-piney hops also in the flavor, but the overall harshness is disturbing. Some maltiness backing it up, but not enough. Medium-bodied, very bitter palate with medium carbonation. A quite Severin-like brew with too much cat-pee to be fully enjoyable.

Bottle. Grapefruit! Grapefruit nose, cringingly bitter grapefruit flavor, long-lasting finish/afteraste that feels like a continuous trickle of fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice across my tongue and cheeks. Devilishly luscious.

Bottle in Aarhus. Hazy golden color, loads of debris floating around. Lovely fruity aroma, grapefruit, hop. Very bitter taste, quite dry, almost astringent. Nice stuff.
