| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 19, 2008 Pours a hazy hold with a frothy white head that leaves huge amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus and pine to the core. It’s so fresh and sweet though. Really enjoyable aroma. The flavor is a bit unbalanced though. There definitely aren’t enough malts to cover up a really long brutal bitter finish. With the exception of the overcompensation of hops in flavor, this beer is impeccable. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 18, 2008 12 oz.bottle in trade from stoutlover72. Into the shaker it went- poured slightly turbid dark orange, very nice white head - one finger to the end- slowly bubbled away, medium lacing. Low carbonation, aroma of earth, pine, and floral hops. HIts the mouth with a medium body, malt is very detectable throughout the swallow, hops come in the middle and last well past the swallow, finish has an enjoyable acidity to it. Very well balanced and very enjoyable. DocHop (278), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 17, 2008 Pours a beautiful honey amber with a tall, foamy, off-white head. Fantastic hop aroma, both a citrus and a very floral sweet pine. Nice flowery, honey malt flavor at first. Extremely smooth body, with a mild onset to the powerful hop finish. Not overly bitter, but by no means week. sstackho (249), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a clear medium gold. Divine strong hoppy aroma. Flavour is exactly what you’d expect - in a good way. Strong, warming, hoppy and bitter. More please, thank you, yum yum.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 14, 2008 A light amber beer with an aroma of... hops!
Quite intensely hopped making it hard to taste the malt as more than an underlying sweetness.
Not very wellbalanced, but still delicious. After all the talk about rising hop prices, this beer fell really luxurious! blipp (1723), Newark, New Jersey, USA

Hoppy aroma pine and lightly citric with a solid malt presence. Medium, soft body. Flavor is hop heavy up front, mostly piny, rounds out with some malt in the middle and has a long finish of bitter hops. Awesome.
