| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 30, 2009 Shawn shared his bottle at The Comet in Northside. Cloudy amber appearance with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of citrus hops, citrus fruits, caramel. Well-balanced and refreshing. Like Shawn said, in the middle of a lot of other drinking, this was a really nice IPA. MikeKeller (54), Finland

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Sep 28, 2009 This is some pretty tasty stuff, Pours with a medium head that leaves a good lace. The color is a beautiful bright orange. Aroma is pungent and complex with grapefruit, pine, Otto’s jacket, and fresh flowers. The flavor is well balanced for what it is, but it’s also wonderfully bitter, piney and hoppy. There is plenty of citrus and grapefruit but the malt pronounces it’s self very well also with biscuit like characteristics. I’ll say I love this beer; it would be a regular of mine if I could get it around here. shawnm213 (939), South Bend, Indiana, USA

This hoppy west coast IPA hit the spot after a number of malty beers and a couple shots of whiskey. Notes of grapefruit, Citrusy hops, caramel. Pretty damn good! neepsntatties (330), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 24, 2009 The, "go-to" west coast style IPA of my dear friend, "Mr. Plumpy". And with good reason! Colour... a lovely, dark copper hue with a thick, frothy head. Nose... a bushel basket of fresh grapefruit with some malt on the side. Palate... OK. Now, imagine having your palate fall into that bushel basket just as a vat of ponderosa pine pitch is poured in. And then you drink it! Gad, what a lovely scene, with a decidedly enjoyable bitter finish!
