Commercial Description:
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

Bottle (in NZ), pours a hazy orange amber with a yellowish head. Big piney hopped nose, with citrus notes and a touch of bubblegum and caramel - just beautiful. A massive bitter palate, that just keeps on getting more and more bitter. Soem biscuity malt sneaks through, but it is mostly grapefruit flavours that sap the taste buds. A huge beer - I’m expecting I’ll still be tasting it tomorrow.

aromais nearly subdued hops, salty lemons predominate. appearance is amber with little head and great lacing. flavor is huge juicy grapefruits and a carton of ’five-alive’ juice. stinging bitterness really lingers. kudos to the respectable ABV, this is the epitome of a west coast IPA, and great by any regions standards.

Bottle. 12 oz. Pours hazy orange-pink with a very fine, yet intensely creamy off-white head. Aroma of honey, grass, lemon zest, hops, and hints of caramel. Medium, pleasantly crisp body with a slightly tart mouthfeel and a very slow-burning finish. Great IPA.

This beer pours a medium amber color with a thin white head Leaving a little lacing down the sides. On the nose this beer is quite good, notes of spruce, citrus and dough. The flavors are pine, citrus, and a hint of vanilla for some reason. I really liked this one. Cheers!

A very nice west coast IPA, this is not my favorite category, but I think this has very good hops with a hint of floral and grass mixed in making it very tasty and a good beer to drink

Hazy orange-gold with thick fluffy head. Very powerful citrus and flower hops. Nice even bitterness, bold flowery hop flavor, long bitter hoppy finish. Great west coast ipa.

Poured a hazy light amber with a very creamy white head. Lots of lacing! Complex hoppy aroma. Citrusy, grapefruit, but with a sweet malty and honey flavor. Very nice!

Wow, what can I say, other than they somehow stole my imaginary recipe for the best ipa ever. Pours a golden copper with a nice white head. Great lacing. The aroma is simply amazing. Simcoe AND Columbus?!?! There is a little bit of something for every kind of hophead in this. Floral, piney, citrus, grapefruit, and some nice caramel malt. The flavor starts out with caramel malt and cirtusy grapefruit. Then floral, pine, and more citrus, and joyfully bitter. Medium to full bodied with light carbonation. At 95 ibu’s and this hop profile this is just what the hop doctor ordered. My new favorite ipa.
