Pours a hazy golden amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted until mid-glass and left lots of patchy lace. Very pleasant fruity aroma with orange and grapefruit along some lighter pine notes. The flavor is malt followed by a wash of bitter grapefruit and pine. Bitter finish, but not astringent. Nice solid IPA.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2009 This beer pours a medium amber color with a thin white head Leaving a little lacing down the sides. On the nose this beer is quite good, notes of spruce, citrus and dough. The flavors are pine, citrus, and a hint of vanilla for some reason. I really liked this one. Cheers! georgekillian (205), USA

Nice even bitterness, bold flowery hop flavor, long bitter hoppy finish. Great west coast ipa. jmm635 (258), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Nov 19, 2009 Wow, what can I say, other than they somehow stole my imaginary recipe for the best ipa ever. Pours a golden copper with a nice white head. Great lacing. The aroma is simply amazing. Simcoe AND Columbus?!?! There is a little bit of something for every kind of hophead in this. Floral, piney, citrus, grapefruit, and some nice caramel malt. The flavor starts out with caramel malt and cirtusy grapefruit. Then floral, pine, and more citrus, and joyfully bitter. Medium to full bodied with light carbonation. At 95 ibu’s and this hop profile this is just what the hop doctor ordered. My new favorite ipa. TipsyMcStager (916), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Pours dark copper with mid range head. Refreshing citurs hoppiness with a blast of pine in the finish. Somewhat chewy malts. RAYBOY01 (1830), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nose is very intense (and intensely inviting) citrus and pine hops. Flavors are really well balanced between the sweet caramel crystal maltiness and the fruity bitterness of the big citrus and pine hopping. Great IPA from the West Coast...go figure!
