Commercial Description:
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

Pours hazy amber, cream color 1" head, lots of lacing. Aroma is very piney, resinous, powerful. Taste is big grapefruit hop flavor with hard to find malts. If you enjoy lots of hops this is for you. Would have enjoyed some more malt presence.

ok i had this beer on tap at capones in norristown pa the food was very good for pub food. now to this highly hopped up ipa that was citrus tasting with a floral aroma it poured with a almost copper color with a nice minimal head, that disaperred quickly but left just a skim coat of foam i found this a very bitter, full body, ipa with soft carbonation, and along bitter finish. it went great with the tuna steak.

Plenty of fruity citrus and tangy hops in the nose with strong underlying malt sweetness. Opaque orange-copper coloured body is topped by a generous, fine bubbled, off white head that recedes rapidly to a low cover with nice lacing. Biscuit malt character supports resiny, tangy citrus hop flavour and very assertive bitterness. I’d love this if there were just a bit more "roundness" to the malt profile. As is, I quite like it anyways! Medium body with strong effervescence that is pleasantly tingly on the tongue and cheeks. Tulip glass. Allowed to warm from fridge temperature. Bottle (Brewery Creek, Aug-08).

On tap at flying saucer. Has a cloudy amber color with a small white frothy head. The aroma is a very strong hoppy aroma and citrus. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste is a strong pine hops and a spicy finish. A very good IPA from green flash.

Poured from a 12oz bottle and served in a shaker. This IPA poured a slightly hazed amber with a nice head of off-white foam that showed some good retention. A decent amount of spider-web lacing coated the inside of the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of grapefruit rind, mango, tangerines, and caramel. The flavor was dry, citric, and moderately bitter. Just enough caramel malt to keep things in check. Really nice! The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation and a pleasing, bitter/dry finish. A really well done IPA!

In short: A superior IPA. Biscuits, coniferous, resinous, dry, tasty, refreshing.
How: Bottle, many times, bought at stores and received in trades, always drank fresh
The look: Cloudy dark orange body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Nose is soapy and foresty, quite pleasant actually as the soapy elements blend with the coniferous into some kind of natural aromatic forest air freshener. Taste presents a discrete buiscuit malt foundation with a whole lot of coniferous hops with a slight pineapple twist. Resinous enough to give it some Oomph but not too much to detract from its refreshing nature. A bit yeasty and pleasantly dry. A stronger more nourishing malt backbone and it would be amazing. Assertive bitterness, this is a tasty yet highly drinkable brew. The guys at Green Flash really know how to brew a solid IPA. Geography too, they know geography too.
